You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm NLT. God wrote a book about you before your parents even thought of having you—before a single day had passed. Celebrities and rulers aren’t the only ones with books containing their life stories.

Tydings (). For Christian people, heaven is a mysterious and fascinating place. There is so much that is unknown about our eternal home. Even still, we can draw from some of the best biblical perspectives on heaven and catch a comforting glimpse into what eternity will be like with these great books about heaven.

Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew ). Presumably, we will read, study, contemplate, and discuss God’s Word. There are also other books in Heaven: “I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.

Another book was opened, which is the book of life. After writing about this new genre of I went to heaven books, I received many comments and emails asking me about biblical examples of those who glimpsed heaven–John in the book of Revelation, Paul in 2 Corinthians, Isaiah in his prophecy.

I will address this briefly today. There are several themes in today’s “I went to heaven” books: Each of the people experienced heaven after. I know that there is one book in heaven—The Book of Life. However, if there are going to be other books, I believe the story about earth will be on the shelf and will be required reading.

Let us give it a title: “Earth of Old: A Legacy of Man’s Will, Never to Be Repeated.”. ^ par. 3 The Hebrew word translated “heaven” apparently comes from a root word that means “high,” or “lofty.” (Proverbs ) See The New Brown, Driver, and Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon of the Old Testament, page ^ par.

9 McClintock and Strong’s Cyclopedia states that the new heavens of Isaiah signify “a new government, new kingdom.” —Volume IV, page   Before you study the details of the Courts of Heaven—the Books in Heaven, the three dimensions of prayer, dissolving curses, retrieving books of destiny, etc.—I want you to have a solid foundation of what gives you a legal right to enter into the courts to begin with and receive breakthrough answers to s: Phil ), and the “book of the Lamb” (Rev ).

It is also referred to through the use of the singular, “the book” (Dan ). It has been suggested that the idea of a heavenly book of life was not exclusively 4Leo Koep considers the “book of the generations of Adam” to provide the “Ansatzpunkte”–“starting.

The books of heaven record the sins that would have been committed had there been opportunity. God will bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing. By His law He measures the character of every man.

As the artist transfers to the canvas the features of the face, so the features of each individual character are transferred to the. In dealing with both heaven and hell, Lutzer writes with passion and compassion.

This book will minister to the brokenhearted believer, giving joy and hope of reunion with believing loved ones.

Nine Days in Heaven relates the vision of twenty-five-year-old Marietta Davis more than years ago, where she was shown the beauties of heaven and the horrors of hell. Told in modern language, the book contains poignant quotes from the original vision, as well as biblical teaching points and testimonials from individuals whose lives have been impacted with this vision d/5(24).

The last book in God’s archives is the single volume, called the “Book of Life.” Even at this judgment of the wicked, this book is the final answer of man’s eternal judgment. Notice this statement, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 15) No doubts could be allowed.

Revelation“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” It is quite amazing that God actually keeps books in Heaven.

Think about that. Yet, Heaven is to be filled with the redeemed. There will be no "empty mansions" in Heaven. Sometimes the Devil would have to believe that nobody is going to Heaven. That everybody is following the ways of sin. The Devil is a liar. Heaven is not to be an empty place; but, rather, a place of a large host that no man can number.

Todd was amazed at how accurately his son's descriptions were close to the text found in the Holy Bible, a book he has never read. He even pointed out the accuracy of a painting drawn by a little girl about Jesus.

This little girl has been having dreams or visions about heaven ever since she was four. Heaven is the first book in the Casteel series by author V. Andrews. It is also the first name of the main character.

We continued to the place where the third book was. It was even bigger than the last book. The book was closed, but we got closer to it. All seven of us together took the book down from its stand, according to command of the Lord, and we put it on a pillar.
