Lancers has been building better lives through horsemanship since and teaches both junior and adult riders. As a not-for-profit and the premier riding school in Atlantic Canada, Lancers thrives by fostering an environment of teamwork and inclusivity amongst all our riders. The Lives of a Bengal Lancer is the type of imperialist adventure story that has fallen out of favor with changing times. Nonetheless, it's an exciting film, full of heroic action and attention-grabbing performances that help overcome its dated feel. Gary Cooper is fine in the lead, but the film also provides a good chance to see Franchot Tone Brand: Kl Studio Classics.

Henry Hathaway's movie Lives of a Bengal Lancer is largely forgotten today. Most people would associate 'Bengal Lancer' with an Indian restaurant or an Indian cricket team. Yet in its time the movie was the equivalent of aSpiderman movie today. It remains famous for making a longtime box office star of Gary Cooper. Much of the book covers his attempts to gain a better insight into the mysticism of the East. The overall impression I have is an intimate portrait of a time gone by, a snapshot as it were, of the lives of a Bengal Lancer set amidst the backdrop of the teeming multitudes of India in the early years of the 20th Century/5(11).
